Applications

Applications are currently CLOSED and will re-open on May 8th if there any available slots.

All players must be 18 years or older.
All players must agree to the rules.
Please make sure you are familiar with the premise.
There is a limit of one character per player.
Characters must be from a fictional medium, and should not veer too heavily toward RPF (real person fiction) but this may be decided on a case-by-case basis; if you are unsure just ask us.
Characters with memories from previous games are allowed.
Characters from AUs (alternate universes) are allowed.
Duplicates are allowed if:
- You have the consent of the player who is currently playing that character in the game.
- AND your version of the character is in some way materially different, i.e. they are from a different version in canon, a significantly different point in canon, yours is PGAU and theirs is not, etc.
OCs (original characters) are allowed.
Fandom OCs (original characters whose backstory is set in a fandom canon) are allowed but:
- Require approval from any other players from that canon, and that you have worked out whatever CR those characters may or may not have beforehand.
Storied characters who are functionally 'OCs on rails' (I.E. FFIVX Warrior of Light, Warframe: The Tenno) are allowed, simply be respectful.
- If there is currently a cast for that canon in the game when you app, you must get the consent of the cast.
- Accept and be considerate in the event that castmates do not want to play as if YOUR version of the character is the version THEIR character is familiar with.

Rough Overview of Superhuman Abilities/Powers:
Any Extenuating Circumstances: (These will NOT inhibit most characters from being apped, they may however effect how your character arrives in Pyrite). (Is your character dead, are they a giant kaiju, are they a conglomeration of souls smashed into a meat puppet, etc).

Small Exchange:

This is the little 'proof of power' wish mentioned in the premise, and is meant to act as a fun starter buff/debuff for your character.
What Did Your Character Ask For: (These should all be relatively 'small' scale/will be scaled down versions of more variable powers, e.g. levitation, pyrokinesis, empathic perception, cat ears, lowering vampiric dietary requirements, a nice pair of shoes)
What Did They Sacrifice: (These can be anything e.g. their name, a childhood memory, left hand, right eye, ability to do math)

The Contract:

This is the Impossible Wish, your character's motivation for joining the game, to be paid out when their god achieves their freedom. What is it they would sacrifice almost anything to achieve?
Their Wish: (Can be any single wish, but can't be 'wish for more wishes' or 'a list of wishes'. But extremely large wishes i.e. "The resurrection of everyone in my destroyed homeland" or "To return to the past before I made a mistake" are valid.)
