Cheatsheet

Cheatsheet
This OOC cheatsheet is meant to be a reference page for all your needs when playing. Your characters have received the IC pamphlet when they arrive to help them, this is an OOC resource/quick reference. Terms that we use within the game will be defined below as well.

FULL NAVIGATION LINK | PYRITE RULES
Arrival
FULL ARRIVAL DETAILS
  • Characters wake up in their bedroom in their temple.
  • They have a pamphlet (see comments) with details specific to their team.
  • Whatever Small Wish/Small Sacrifice they made on the way into the game (this was on your application) will still be in effect (if relevant).
  • The Sunphone makes an annoying announcement to everyone that a new person has arrived.
  • Characters are not locationally locked, once they wake up they can go wherever.
Setting
SETTING FULL DETAILS
  • The jail (essentially the 'universe') is The Stasis.
  • The land mass is The Nugget.
  • The area around the land is The Void.
  • 'Pyrite' is not used ICly (currently).
Cults & Gods
CULT DETAILS | TEMPLE DETAILS
  • The teams are Cults.
  • The characters are Disciples or Cultists, both work.
  • The gods are as follows:
    • Canadensis's god is Temis. God of the hunt, embodies both the hunter and the hound, domains include obsession and pursuit.
    • Gracillis's god is the Fool. God of folly and death, whimsical and unpredictable, domains include death, trolling, and surprise.
    • Ammon's god is Jen. God of mysteries, eldritch horror adjacent, domains include deep sea and deep space, and the unknown.
    • Nivicola's god is Limnly. God of creation, her theme is cottagecore and following directions, domains include making stuff and functional structures.
    • Dalli's god is Rizus. God of boundaries, really into contrasts and being cryptic, domains include fences, rules and divisions.
    • Vignei's god is Herbert. God of currency, he's capitalism, domains include money, money, trade, innovation, and money.
  • Temples are where the disciples/cultists live.
  • Characters must sleep/spend the night in their temple every two days or they will become lunatic zombies.
Rituals
COFFERS DETAILS | RITUAL DETAILS
  • The coffers are where coins can be spent and disciples can get resources.
    • Coins come in Big and Small flavor (Silver and Copper)
  • Rituals are activities cultists perform to please their god and receive coins or miracles (directly receive resources, healing or revivals).
    • Rituals characters can perform come in Big and Small flavor (C&C Rituals and Little Rituals)
    • If cultists are performing a C&C ritual for a specific effect (I.E. "Heal everyone present" or "Increased crop yield" or "Revive this dead person") the reward for the ritual is the effect (for the participants) + a Silver coin for the running team.
    • If there is no specific effect, the reward is Copper Coins for all participating, and a Silver coin for the running team.
Powers & Healing
MECHANICS DETAILS
  • All characters and powers are nerfed to around 10% of their canon strength.
  • Be reasonable and don't god mode.
  • ALL healing powers do not work.
Posting
  • Anyone can post to the community.
  • Time is fluid but if IC time hasn't moved in a few OOC days, please consider moving it ahead.
  • We discourage empty mingles but encourage mingles that are rituals.
  • We also encourage any non-empty mingle non-ritual post. It's fine to just be doing stuff, even if that stuff isn't meant to be for everyone.
